How is Reformer Pro different to other plugins? Back to knowledge base

Reformer is rather different to other plugins, which transform an input using digital-signal processing or simply playback an audio file when triggered. Instead, Reformer uses an input to control and select segments of pre-recorded audio automatically, and recompiles them in real-time, based on the characteristics of the incoming signal.

In this way, you can perform foley, sound effects and other sounds as if you were performing an instrument. This is a complex process and may feel a little strange at first, but is an excitingly, new and powerful method of working with audio.
