International Tiger Day is celebrated every 26th July to raise awareness about the conservation of world tiger populations. Shockingly, in the last 100 years the global tiger population has dropped by more 95%, a statistic that shocked the world into action back in 2010. Since 2010 global efforts have seen populations improve , but there is still much to be done. To find out how you can help this incredible creature visit www.wwf.org.uk. The more that can be done to raise awareness of this noble cause the better.
