Krotos Studio uses granular engines and our team has developed an algorithm to analyse the audio sample grains available in the Krotos Studio factory asset database and combine them to create seamless recordings based on real-time user interaction for our AI-powered presets, as well as text input for our recent AI Ambience Generator feature.

In other words, we don’t use generative AI for any sounds due to concerns about the legal status and impact of this technology in the media industry. Our partners’ work is unique and is treated and protected as such within our products’ IP.
