About the Role

We are on a growth trajectory and looking for an experienced Content Marketer to develop, implement, monitor, and optimize our content marketing campaigns. You’ll report to our Marketing Manager and play a key role in our marketing team.

You’ll liaise with top sound and music professionals, produce interviews, blog about their work, and commission collaborative audio visual content. You’ll also take ownership of our content, social media, and newsletter initiatives and deliver them.

You’ll be highly creative and have a ‘gets stuff done’ mindset. You’ll be at ease with day-to-day content marketing activities, thriving within tight deadlines and changing needs.

Key Objectives

Through Content Marketing, you will:

  • Inspire, inform, and engage to amplify brand reach and website traffic.
  • Generate marketing qualified leads to meet targets.
  • Nudge conversions of marketing qualified leads to sales qualified leads.
  • Enhance customer journeys and user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead brainstorming and ideation sessions, identify opportunities, and devise ongoing content strategy.
  • Write creative and persuasive content for our products, website landing pages, blogs, newsletters, social posts, ads, press releases, competitions, and all promotional material.
  • Set up relationships with a network of leading sound specialists from around the world. You’ll arrange content production with them in the form of artist interviews, user generated content, tutorials, events, and webinars.
  • Work with press contacts to promote our products and initiatives.
  • Keep the brand tone of voice guide up-to-date and ensure consistency across all channels.
  • Manage the monthly content creation budget. Maximise return on investment and reduce customer acquisition cost.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience in or knowledge of the sound design, post production, or music industry.
  • Proven success and achievements in content marketing roles.
  • A confident communicator with outstanding writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to produce design assets using Canva / Adobe, with an eye for great design and what looks good on social media, banners, and videos.
  • Curious, creative, and not afraid to experiment with new ideas.
  • Experienced in and set up for home working (remote). Comfortable participating through video calls throughout the day.
  • Always learning, keeping abreast of marketing trends, advising the business as they change or offer opportunities.

Desirable

  • Experience with WordPress (or similar platforms), HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience in SEO, audits, research, analytics, and reporting.
  • Established press and media contacts.
