We are looking for a CTO to be an integral part of the development of the company. You will guide our technical direction, in line with our company values and culture. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders from various disciplines to develop the next generation of audio technology and transform the way people work with sound.


  • Lead the development of new audio technologies and products
  • Provide inspiring and proactive leadership, managing a growing team of developers, both in-house and remote
  • Oversee technical development of all Krotos projects, on multiple platforms
  • Ensure all code meets the highest standards, is modular, and portable between projects and platforms
  • Estimate and define schedules and technical KPIs 
  • Provide technical guidance and code assistance 
  • Manage maintenance of existing products
  • Provide coaching to developers, and conduct one2ones
  • Manage Quality Assurance testing of products in development

Required Skills

  • Extensive experience of leading and managing technical teams on software development projects using agile methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of C++
  • Strong people management skills
  • Experience in audio software development and knowledge of software architecture patterns and practices
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills
  • Experience in shipping commercial audio products
  • A genuine enthusiasm for audio technology and video games
  • Experience using the JUCE framework or VST/AU/AAX plugin development
  • Experience with cross-platform SDKs, Unity, Unreal Engine, Wwise or FMOD
  • Knowledge of audio industry trends
