Happy New Year! As 2016 draws to its conclusion, we’re taking a look back at this year’s highlights.

We released two brand new products, Dehumaniser 2 and its little brother Dehumaniser Simple Monsters. These were our first VST/AU/AAX plugins, and have quickly become our most popular products. Dehumaniser was also a finalist for a Develp Award in Design and Creativity Tools, which was a great honour.

Our technology was used in a huge number of games, TV, and film projects. Some of these films include blockbusters The Jungle Book and The Conjuring 2, and family favourite The Last Dragonslayer. We were even used in an awesome podcast called Horror.City and the running app Tracks.

Over in games, Dehumaniser was used in Killer Instict, League of Legends, Doom, and King’s Quest (see a great piece here from Hexany Audio about the sound design of the game).

There are of course lots of other projects we can’t mention yet, but it was a great year for us here at Krotos. With lots of exciting developments in the works, 2017 is already looking to be our best year to date. We will share more as soon as we can, but in the meantime, thank you to all of our customers, partners, and friends for your support!
